Word of mouth is probably the best way because it speaks of your skill. If you belong or know someone who belongs to a churchor club that can put the word out for you that is another good way. It has taken us five years to get our small business off the ground in the same industry. We have been successful with phone book advertising also but it is expensive when you are trying to get started. A really professional looking business card can also go a long way. Don't skimp on the business card - it might lead people to think you are willing to be cheap on their home. Another thing we found that helped is professional looking appearance (nice screen printed tshirts with your logo), professional estimates and have a friendly, outgoing personality. Selling your personality is almost as important as the product you are selling. Be honest, admit your mistakes and make it right when you do. Best of luck to you! Hope you find this helpful!
