Removing paint from drywall.?

Whats the best way?

Or is it easier just to replace the drywall?

(75 years old +)

This house is olddd. lolRemoving paint from drywall.?
Buy some3/8 drywall and go over the old crap.Glue it and screw it.Tape it,mud it,sand it and be done with it.Removing paint from drywall.?
just have it skim coated with drywall mud, if you can't do it a professional drywall hanger can do it, the walls will come out like new and can be done in a few days
Why can't you just paint over it? Is the dryrock textured? And I didn't know they had drywall in 75 year old houses. Are you sure that it's drywall? Maybe it's asbestos.
Dry wall is cheap. One always learns more from what is behind it,or the lack therof.

Piece of mind is priceless.
I got to ask... Why would you want to remove paint from drywall????

Just paint over it! If the color you know have is very offensive (bright or dark) use primer and than put on a coat of what will make you happy

Good Luck
