Can I use extra pool paint to paint drywall in bathroom?

We have extra paint from painting our in-ground pool. Our house is built old and the bathrooms are drywall. My mom complaints about the stains. So I was thinking if we could use paint from the pool with had since its like waterproof. Can I use it?Can I use extra pool paint to paint drywall in bathroom?
I used swimming pool waterproofer to deal with a damp wall about twenty years ago - still as dry as a bone. If you don't fear trapping damp in the construction (which I must admit I did at the time) then you should be OK

What you are contemplating is no different from vinyl or any other non porous finish - so go for it. It may show condensatioin but should be easy to wipe down from time to time. Can I use extra pool paint to paint drywall in bathroom?
Pretty sure it's a water-resistant paint dmagic, it's POOL PAINT! However westusaX, check the safety spec's on the can. What does it say about ventilation when applying. It's a water-based acrylic enamel paint, that claims virtually no solvent odor. http://www.poolsinc.com/pa_aquaseal.html You don't want to be enclosed in the bathroom, without adequate ventilation when applying. Use fans to circulate the fumes out of the bathroom, and take frequent breaks outside in the fresh air.

Determine what's causing the stains. If it's around a shower area per se, the sheet rock behind it may contain moisture, and applying this paint will trap it in there. Now you'll have a situation that may promote mold, and rot. Mold is nothing to fool with. That is, it shouldn't be neglected, as it can, and will, lead to health issues. Appying the paint over it, would be worse than applying a 'bandaid fix', it could lead to the above issue, and structure damage. In my estimate, yes, it could be applied. Should you? Depends on the circumstances above.

It will work just don't know how long it would stay or how good it would look.
