What is/are the best paint color(s) for hiding drywall imperfections?

The color doesn't matter as much as the sheen. A flat paint doesn't reflect the light as much as a glossier paint. The lighting also affects the look. Lighting directed at the wall surface shows less imperfections that a light along the wall would. What is/are the best paint color(s) for hiding drywall imperfections?
If the taping is covering holes then fill in the holes and then sand

the drywall. Use a primer/sealer and then paint walls any color you want. Here is an easy way to repair the holes: clean up the holes

with an dry wall knife. Measure the diameter of the holes. Find

some sturdy cardboard ( like used cereal boxes etc.) Draw a

circle 1 inch larger than the hole. Poke a hole in the middle of

the circle and thread some household string through the hole.

Tie a knot in the end of the string and pull it snug against the

circle. Fold the circle but do not crease the cardboard and poke it

through the hole. Let it go completely through the hole and drop

down. Then pull the string and bring the circle flush against the

hole with the string in the center of the hole. Keeping the string taunt tie the other end to a chair or a ladder. Make sure the

circle isn't bulging back through the hole. Now trowel in the

spackling paste. Fill in completely and as smoothly as possible.

Let dry over night. Next day, cut the string as close to the wall

as possible and add some more paste to cover the string. Let

dry, sand smooth and re-paint. Should not show at all. Hope

this helps. What is/are the best paint color(s) for hiding drywall imperfections?

the flat paints are best for poor wall conditions! the gloss paint shows all imperfections
your best bet is to replaster the problem areas and sand them down. Then you can paint any color you like.
