On a double wide manufactured home, is it OK to paint over those covered drywall panels?

It sure is..I've been doing it for years. Be sure to cover all stains before painting, the spray stain cover works great for this. If the vinel covered walls have dark prints on them it will take two coats of paint...good luck.On a double wide manufactured home, is it OK to paint over those covered drywall panels?
It is OK. However, if you intend to do so yourself, seek the advice of your local paint store professionals. There are certain ways to prepare the surface that they can help you with. As with any painting job the better the surface is prepared the better the outcome. On a double wide manufactured home, is it OK to paint over those covered drywall panels?
No problem. The only thing is, they often have patterns on the paper that covers the drywall. It may take more than one coat of paint to cover it. Useing primer/sealer for the first coat is better and saves paint.
